La bibliothèque évolutive de AIR assure différentes missions : documentaire et culturelle.
Elle fournit aux professionnels, aux parents, à toutes personnes désireuses de s’informer, des documents nécessaires à leurs activités et offre à l’ensemble des personnes les moyens d’une pratique culturelle et individuelle.

Les collections comportent des livres ainsi que de nombreux documents papiers et vidéos {ouvrages, articles, vidéos entrés en bibliothèque depuis 1987 : plus de 400 ouvrages et plus de 18000 polycopiés, articles. Des mémoires ainsi que des thèses font également partie de la bibliothèque.
